Turn out the lights

If for five minutes the stars hid from the sky,
And the moon was wrapped up like a piece of candy in aluminium foil.
If the only light that shone was a dimly lit lantern hanging above only us,
Would I cease to occupy space in the background?
Would you finally see me?
…and really see me.Image

    • That sounds awesome! I’ll send you an email so you have my email address and the next time you feel up to starting something hit me up 🙂

  2. That’s a lovely poem and a even lovelier image, and thank you for liking my poem “Stuck at 11” 🙂
